Expect to feel understood.

Hi, I’m Dannica Conley. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in anxiety, self-esteem and body image, life transitions, relationships and codependency, and trauma.

I believe that healing begins when we turn inward and explore our thoughts, emotions, and experiences with intention and curiosity. This process allows us to reconnect with our most authentic self.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, constantly worried, or disconnected from who you are, therapy can help. Your path to healing, balance, and wholeness is within reach. In our work together, I’ll equip you with practical tools and skills while helping you cultivate resilience, confidence and inner peace so that you can live as your most vibrant self.

Come as you are. I’ll meet you where you are. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful tools for change (and research supports this!).

My approach to therapy integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Feminist, and Narrative modalities. I have also completed training in the Gottman Method (Levels 1 and 2).

I earned my undergraduate degree summa cum laude from the University of Arizona, and completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the College of William & Mary.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia (VA License #0701013947), providing virtual therapy to clients across the state. No matter your identity or background, you’re welcome here. Your journey toward transformation can begin today, and I’m honored to support you every step of the way.

Expect to feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward a more meaningful life.

The therapeutic alliance is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy. I support my clients in accessing their unique strengths as they rebuild and fortify their relationship with themselves and the world.
